This page is a work in progress

This is going to be one hell of a walkthrough in the end, and if you’re going to use it, you might want to use it in the beginning? But even if you’re stuck on some spots or don’t know where certain things are, hopefully you can jump in on a specific quest. It might take you in the path of something you forgot to Revelio.

This guide is far from complete right now though, and I am working to keep it updated as fast as I can.

This guide may or may not tell you where every little thing is, but in the end I tried my best
I won’t tell you to buy something (unless it’s needed)
I typically won’t tell you to sell your clothes for inventory space

The Path to Hogwarts

Follow Professor Fig until you come across a wall — destroy it — climb up and go opposite way of Professor for chest — follow Professor

Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough Check-in

I hope everything is going good as far as following this Hogwarts Legacy walkthrough so far.

Unfortunately, during Gobs of Gobstones, I believe I missed out on a chest I could’ve had up in the rafter area that will give you the code for all the puzzle (? and ??) doors. It’s around the 9-10 hour mark that I came across the chest and face-palmed. So we could’ve been opening up those doors earlier than we actually do, but it’s not too big of a deal as I’m making the back-tracking aspect work.

Backtracking in games that offer future spells for past areas is painstakingly difficult to make walkthroughs for, but it’s ending up also a fun task.

Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough Check-in

Another 4-hour-ish mark just to break it up.

A lot more battling this time around, specifically in the Forbidden Forest. Definitely not my favorite place with all those spiders, but I was kind of surprised there wasn’t one huge gigantic spider (unless there is and I haven’t come across it yet–lord please no).

I definitely had to go back and watch through my video regarding the trial because I got so confused typing all of those directions since there’s a lot of back and forth and Accioing everything.

I’m hoping the walkthrough so far is clear to read. I try to break the different areas with indents so it’s easier to keep track and you’re not just staring at one similar instructions after another without really anything to distinguish one from another. We’re getting closer to filling up the tiers of a challenge, but there’s still a bit of a ways to go.

Also…the Room of Requirement is amazing.

You should, because we’ve now got Alohomora II instead of the simplest of lockpickings. So now we can get even more items and snoop through even more rooms. I just hope I can remember where all the places are. So far, by backtracking to different places, I’ve managed to add in some chests and bags that might’ve been missed the first time around.

Not only that, but we’ve ended here on an animal fanatic’s dream–the vivarium that holds all our beasties.
