Charms Class might give you the opportunity to play a game with your classmate in order to learn a spell, but it’s not a wizarding school without learning some kind of defense about the scary things that’ll come after you. That defense comes in the form of Levioso.
It’s an interesting form of defense. Usually one thinks of protecting themselves, but you already have the spell Protego to do that in combat. So I feel like Levioso would be more of a spur-of-the-moment defensive move when you’re in a panic to just…do something to prevent some kind of harm your way.
But Professor Hecat is right though: a surprised enemy is a vulnerable enemy.
Not quite those words, but you get it.
Once you learn Levioso, you’re put on the spot and must use it against a dummy. After the initial dummy, you can have a one-on-one battle with another dummy named Sebastian Sallow who you’ll be seeing more of in the future.
Speak with Sebastian
Sebastian’s sulking in the corner of the room waiting to have a word with you. Once you speak with him, you’ll initiate the quest Crossed Wands: Round 1.
