This quest can be found in The Astronomy Wing.

Find Arthur Plummly directly outside Charms Class and speak with him.

Find the first landmark from Arthur’s Treasure Map

I hope you’re ready to look for some treasure via a treasure map, because that’s exactly what this quest entails.

It’s funny because while you know Hogwarts has all kinds of secrets in the most discreet of locations, you wouldn’t really think to find a treasure map, like you would on a deserted island or something. I don’t know, all I can think of after accepting this quest is whether it washed ashore inside a bottle.

Then again, maybe an owl delivered it to him.

(Uh…he didn’t mention where he got it, right?)

There are three locations you’ll be traveling to in order to find the treasure. The first one is located down four sets of stairs, meaning you’ll end up on the floor with the giant skeletal rhinoceros looking thing.

Find the second landmark from Arthur’s Treasure Map

Go downstairs and out the door leading to the Transfiguration Courtyard and approach the fountain.

Find the third landmark from Arthur’s Treasure Map

Run straight ahead past the large tree and go through the doors. When you walk around a bit, the objective will change again, for some reason. (I feel like the third landmark is the painting, so changing the objective is kind of silly.)

Find the painting from Arthur’s Treasure Map

Go up the steps to the first landing; the painting is just ahead.

Discover the painting’s secret

If you look at the map, you’ll notice it has the icon for Accio circled and a small pointer to the top of the painting. All you have to do is just that.

Return to Arthur Plummly

Fast travel to Charms Classroom in The Astronomy Wing and speak with Arthur, who’s in the circular lobby looking at some paintings.
