Defuse the Situation Achievement

Defuse the Situation is an achievement in Greedfall 2: The Dying World. After coming across a trap or boob-trapped chest, you must successfully disarm it.

Disarm a trap or a booby-trapped chest.

Some of the first traps you’re going to encounter is from going through the quest A Dying Forest. They’re basically like bear traps, so while they are visible on the ground, they also aren’t that noticeable if you’re not looking out for them.

If you’ve activated your tracking skill, you can see them easily, as they show up in red.

Approach one of the traps for the interaction of defuse trap to pop-up.

This is a skill-check, so you have a possibility of either succeeding or failing, depending on how much you’ve stacked into your Mechanics talent in your party member menu.

Once you defuse a trap, or even a boob-trapped chest, successfully, you’ll get the achievement.
