Take the elevator up to where you live. Beside the door on the wall is where you’ll see The Fool graffiti.
Talk to the cops
Down one floor from yours are a couple of cops that were talking outside of someone’s door. Wait until they walk over to the side to listen to what they have to say. The choices at this point don’t really matter, I don’t think, but choose the optimal ones just in case.
Talk to Barry
Approach the door in question and give it a knock. Barry won’t respond.
Wait a few hours
You don’t have to actually go out and do anything. In fact, I think if you wait too long, it’ll be too late for a good ending to Barry. Instead, go into your main menu where you can choose to Skip Time and let it go for a full day. If that doesn’t work, keep doing a few hours until you can interact with the door again.
Try talking to Barry
Knock on the door again.
This time he answers, and the dialogue choices before you enter his room are up to you to choose. However, once you enter his room, you’ll want to pay attention the dialogue choice.
When the moment arrives, you’re going to want to choose How’d Andrew die?
If you don’t choose this option, this quest won’t continue and it’s a bad outcome for Barry. However, if you do choose this option, you can continue an optional part of the quest.
Find Andrew’s niche before talking to the cops
This requires a bit of a car ride, and if you haven’t gotten your car yet by the time you do this quest, no worries, you can always hijack one. With consequences, but what’s a game without them, right?
There’s not too much to do but drive to the destination, really.
Once there, you’ll find the niche at the end of one of the walls, highlighted in blue, with Johnny showing up so you know you’re in the right spot.

On one of the large walls nearby you’ll see the Temperance graffiti.
Talk to the cops
Instead of driving, just fast travel back to Megabuilding H10: Atrium using the console. Take the steps down and speak with the cops with whichever dialogue choices you want, and then wait near them as they knock on Barry’s door until the quest completes.
