The Auto Feeder is an upgrade in the base’s Laboratory of the game Quarantine Zone. It allows the caged zombie to be fed without your help.

Auto Feeder
Normally if you have a zombie in the Lab’s cage, you’re going to have to place a bagged corpse onto a trolley and roll that trolley over to where the zombie is to feed it. And you have to do this day after day for as long as you have a zombie in that cage.
However, if you purchase the Auto Feeder from the Laboratory, which is the third upgrade and costs $10,000, you no longer need to do this.
Day after day, that zombie is going to live without your interference.
I think the Auto Feeder’s description is a little confusing, because after purchasing it and looking at the cage, nothing has changed. The place where you dump its food is still there, and there’s nothing new that I could see that gave the impression it was going to be fed on its own through some feeder.
So while you can grab another body bag for the zombie, there’s no need to once you have this upgrade.
