KOTAMON, because the name needs a smaller title to match the smaller gameplay.
Clearing trash can feel even better when you not only make the world cleaner, but also find extra-rare cards that have suddenly increased in price! Rummage through garbage, fulfill the orders from the dump site owner, look for hidden treasures… and collect all the Kotámons!

Borderline risqué
With the overall graphics, it looks to be a game that’s more on the cuter side of things. Maybe even family friendly, considering all we’re doing is cleaning a dump in order to find card collections that were mistakenly thrown away.
But the cards themselves?
The artwork looks as if the devs weren’t sure if they wanted this game to be for the cozy casuals or for the adult side of Steam, so they kind of met in the middle, and I’m just kind of like…if you’re gonna go adult just do it.
I mean there’s nothing revealing with the cards themselves, but their clothes are kind of scandalous in a way that some people might gasp and clutch their pearls if they picked this game up.
Fixing cards isn’t fun
While you’re searching for cards in the dump, there are going to be two types of cards you come across. Dirty cards, which are in tact and you just need to clean them off, or pieces of cards, which you’ll need to combine by putting them together in a jigsaw puzzle-like way.
Cleaning the cards off isn’t so bad.
You do it with a toothbrush, but it’s not really satisfying. The toothbrush must be old and stiff and missing bristles, because it does not clean very well.
Taping the cards back together though? Oh, I absolutely hated it.
You rotate the pieces of the card with A and D instead of the mousewheel which automatically makes me sad, but that’s not the dealbreaker. If you accidentally click the wrong button and you hit a keybind for E or Q, you’re either going to drink a can of beer to restore your energy, whether your energy is full or not, or you’re going to throw your trash bag.
I don’t understand why you can still do those things when you’re trying to fix the cards, and despite the cans being relatively cheap, it’s such a waste when it happens.
Needs more cards
There’s too many duplicates.
There are games I’ve played where you get a ton of duplicates as well, but in those games there’s also a mass quantity of cards. This game’s demo doesn’t have a whole lot of cards to complete the full collection, meaning you’re going to get a ton of duplicates before you find cards that you haven’t obtained yet.
Especially if the more sought after cards are going to be the rarest finds.
I wouldn’t mind getting duplicates, if I was getting something out of them, but as of right now, I don’t think that’s the case. You don’t gain money from them, and they don’t help your gameplay in any way.
Energy can never keep up
It’s really weird that even on max, the beer cans you drink don’t top up your energy, and your energy depletes so fast as you pick up trash that it becomes a little annoying.
I’m used to playing digging games and the energy can deplete at a much slower rate that this game does, but I’ll give it a little leeway since this is a demo.

Graphics are fun
Aside from the overall gameplay really not being that bad despite all the flaws I list, the only pro I can give this game go to the graphics side of things. They’re cartoony, they’re fun, they’re not going the realistic route which makes the game a bit more casual, in my opinion.
Nothing to take too seriously, since we’re trying to find these winning cards that were thrown out by mistake.
It has the potential to be a good game. The core setup is there, but right now, the graphics really trump everything else it has going for it.
