Reclaiming the Ruins is an alliance quest in Azuremyst Isle per The Burning Crusade expansion of World of Warcraft.
While some may look at our current predicament as an unfortunate turn of events, I sense that we are here for a reason. The invisible hand of fate has pushed us in this direction. The reason why will become evident in time.
To the west lies an ancient night elf city, now in ruin and overrun with naga. It would be remiss of me to sit idly by as the naga tainted my ancestral lands.
You have shown yourself a capable <class>. Honor my people and cleanse the ruins of their unwelcome inhabitants.
Quest Objective:
Priestess Kyleen Il’dinare at Odesyus’ Landing on Azuremyst Isle wants you to kill 5 Wrathscale Myrmidons, 5 Wrathscale Naga and 5 Wrathscale Sirens.
Reclaiming the Ruins Guide
- Starts: Priestess Kyleen Il’dinare (47,70.3)
- Ends: Priestess Kyleen Il’dinare (47,70.3)
Head southwest where all the wrathscales have apparently been indulging in a breeding frenzy. You might find the myrmidons and the sirens a bit thinned out in comparison to all the naga themselves. If that’s the case, run along the shoreline–you might find more of them.
Are there any goodies?
If you go into the cave of 27,76, you might be able to find three different Tattered Chests.
Any good mob drops?
As you kill the wrathscales, you might be looting Small Barnacled Clams. While the clams themselves might not seem great or sell very well on the auction house, it’s what’s inside them that counts. You’ll either find Clam Meat or Small Lustrous Pearls, which are pretty rare and can sell for a decent amount to the population.
Not to mention some professions use the pearls for crafting transmog.
